HAPPY NEW YEAR, I hope everyone had a wonderful and blessed Christmas ... 2011 was an odd year both good and bad. I pray that 2012 with bring better fortunes and blessings for everyone! In case ya'll haven't heard the FBI reported over 1.53 million background checks were completed for the month of december. This is a record month set. When calculating in these numbers along with weapons carry permits and multiple gun sales it could very well possibly be 2.6million guns sales for last month. What does this mean. Well all inventories across the country retail & wholesale/distributors are low right now. It will take a few weeks or months for stock levels to get back up. What drove this demand is uncertain. Some I am sure was because of Christmas & hunting season, this rest.... Was is certain is the demand for firearms and ammo is up. Many Manufacturers are coming out with many new firearms the month. Shot Show in Las Vegas January 17-20 is when most manufacturers announce the new products for the year. Ruger has already released the new LCR22 and the SR40c compact. Daniel Defense has a new rifle and caliber coming out. Armscorp/Rock Island Armory also has some new products. This is minor update on the Dixie Triggers web site. As all the new stuff is coming out we will try and have new stock. It will be a continual change. So after the craziness slows down I will have more updates. Please be Patient. I am a retired disabled Veteran from the U.S. Coast Guard. I was retired as an Aviation Mechanics Technician 1st Class. I served at USCG Airsta Miami, USCG Polar Operations in Mobile and USCG Airsta Savannah. I deployed on numerous Cutters from the warm waters in the Caribbean Sea and N Atlantic to the Icy waters in the Antarctic on the Polar Ice breakers. I have always been an avid gun lover and hunter from my years as a youth. I believe in God and I am a Christian, ask me about my faith, what God has done for me and what he can do for you. I believe in the right to bear arms and the right to defend my country, my faith, my family, my life and my home. I believe in the rights of law abiding citizens to legally own firearms of all kinds. I believe that anyone who acquires, uses, sells, or purchases a firearm illegally or uses a firearm in the act of committing of crime should be prosecuted to maximum extent of the law.
Dixie Triggers came about back in October of 2008. As a disabled veteran my physical limitations prevent me from being gainfully employed, But I am not to be idle. one can go NUTS after awhile being stuck at home, the walls start to close in... well I can go on. I had to find something that I could do, that I knew a lot about, that was interesting, fun, safe, and I that could make a few dollars while doing. The whole family helped inventing the name Dixie Triggers. There were many other names (6 to be exact), so one morning I gave ballots to all the family (yes distant relatives too) and walla, Dixie Triggers won the vote and Dixie Triggers was born.
