Customer review; Hi Mark, I know it's been a while but figured I'd give ya some feedback on the gun. Not sure how much you've been able to shoot one and was hoping it might help with anyone looking to buy one from ya. I've managed to put about 800 rds through it so far, of which most were .38. Probably about 300 of that has been .357. The gun locks and shoots as smooth as the day I got it from you. The trigger pull is fantastic as it is in the .38 model. The extra weight of the .357 model over the .38 creates a noticeable difference in shooting .38+P ammo. It's much more manageable to me than the standard LCR. I could shoot .38 wad-cutters all day long and it's remarkably accurate for having such a small barrel. Shooting .357 ammo is a man sized sport though. Recoil is excessive and it's very difficult to reacquire your sight in rapide fire. That said, at 15 feet I can still keep all 5 shots in center mass. I can usually put about 50 rounds of .357 down the pipe in a range trip before my hand really starts to feel fatigued. I've carried it in cargo pants with a holster almost since the day I got it from you. It's been very reliable with all forms of ammo, reloads or factory, and I can't say enough good things about it. My wife even manages it better with .38 loads than she does a standard LCR. It's been a great gun. There is no glossing over the .357 recoil. It's a bear, but it's worth it in my opinion to have the option for carrying .357 if need be. Plus the extra 4oz it weighs over the standard LCR does help reduce felt recoil from other loads.
